If you experience kaleidoscope vision in one eye, is it a symptom of multiple sclerosis? - multiple sclerosis and kaleidoscope vision

A very good friend of 32 years had symptoms a week, visited a specialist and said Retna a probability of 80% of MS I am total shock. She is waiting for the results of an MRI, and leaves your mind while you wait.

Optic neuritis is an important thing, MS, or are connecting suddenly a low vision in one eye, a high percentage of MS patients with optic neuritis

I do not know exactly what you hear on the kaleidoscopic vision, but a general idea.

The first symptoms of MS are often visual, optic neuritis, ie, not always with the MS. There are also other causes.
I had optic neuritis in the 80s and early 70s and was eventually diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1983. It was very frightening and disturbing. It was 25 years ago and although it was not easy, not as bad as I thought it would.

I have blurred vision on occasion, usually when you're hot. I see a neuro-ophthalmologist wonderful, with additional experience in September

My mother at the age of 85, also MS. She lives alone, local units and uses a bike very far.

Good luck to your friend. I invite you to visit my Yahoo both MS group.
